What's that? It's Friday again? Yay!

All I will say is, it's been a week at work.

One of those weeks where I want to bang my head on my desk over & over again.

Luckily, I have walked out the door and left all that work stress sitting right on my desk and NOT taking it home with me. (applause, please)

Happenings at home:

♥ Abbie has been in panties all week, even at night - not one accident. NOT ONE!

(let's hope I didn't just jinx myself, haha!)

♥ Jaelyn has responded well to the chalkboard I hung up. She gets a star or heart when she listens, doesn't complain about dinner, picks up toys, etc. 

Visuals seems to work well with her.

♥ Hubby showed me the plans for the daycare center. It's so neat to see it all drawn up professionally! I can't wait!

♥ It's hot.

♥ We have a graduation party tomorrow. I think we are going to roast.

♥ I have a day off next week... BEACH DAY!

♥ Had my eyes checked last night. There was no change. Whew.

♥ I actually have a jean skirt on today. Not sure why this is relevant but I felt the need to share because I rarely, if ever wear skirts.

Happy Friday!!

Yaaaaay it's FRIDAY!! *happy dance*

Even though I'm at work because I have to be am so dedicated. We do get to leave early so I will take it. Then a whirlwind weekend of fun is ON! Not too much planned for tonight except watching the Flyers game (woot!). Tomorrow we have plans to dye some eggs and then celebrate my nephew Ethan's birthday and then after that we may even stop over our friend/neighbors house for a little bonfire & chit chat! On Sunday, we are headed to my Sister's house for an egg hunt, dinner and family time. Not to mention all the yummy, yummy food! Woohoo! I know it may rain tomorrow but let's hope we get ONE nice day out of the weekend.

Happy, Happy FRIDAY!!

I always seem to be in good spirits & a better mood when Friday rolls around. It's like, yay! I finally made it! Two days of not sitting at a desk.. woohoo!! Let's just hope the weather coincides with my good mood and it remains nice out.

Our weekend plans include: dance class on Saturday morning, a birthday party with family on Saturday night and perhaps a visit to the Easter Bunny on Sunday. Abbie wanted nothing to do with Santa so not sure how she will feel about a giant bunny with a goofy grin on his face. Might be interesting!

Our social worker brought over the last of the paperwork for us to sign last night! YAY! As it looks now we are still on target for May 20th (my birthday is May 23 - what an AWESOME birthday present!). Now, we meet with our lawyer to sign MORE paperwork and then everything can be filed with the state. Keep your fingers cross and send up a prayer or two! We are in the home stretch so it's just knowing when our special day will be at this point. Then.. A BIG PARTY!!! I can't wait to celebrate our new family! ♥

Best Friend's Wedding

That's right... one of my best friends is getting married!!!

I mentioned this earlier on this blog somewhere that she was engaged recently & it's been a long time coming so I am so super excited for her. I went to visit her to see her big rock and she never stopped smiling the entire time she was talking & telling me details. It was so SWEET!

She has an appointment tomorrow to try on some wedding dresses and asked me to go along and I am trying REALLY hard to make plans so I can, because I have been waiting FOREVER to see her in a white dress! {not as long as she has been waiting I'm sure, but you get the point!}.

I won't reveal all of the cool wedding plans they have made already but as September gets closer, I will probably be more giddy for her... just a warning!

1. Where did you meet your spouse and did you instantly know it was love?

My Husband & I were set up on a blind date by a woman I use to work with & her daughter. The date went well, obviously and the rest is history. I'm not sure we knew it was love 'instantly' but we did fall pretty hard for each other in a short amount of time. ♥

2. What is your favorite room in your house?

The living room - our couch is super comfy & the girls have most of their toys on there so we are in that room 90% of the time.

3. Can you wiggle your ears?

Why, yes I can!

4. What is your evening ritual?

Most nights it goes like this:

4:45 I am home - Hubster picks up the girls & arrives before or around the same time.

Play - Play - Play - Ask about their days - hugs & kisses!

6:00 (or around there) - Dinner

Play - Play - Play after dinner

7:00 - 7:30 baths

8:00 - 8:30 bedtime for the girls

then it's either relax, fold laundry, do some stuff, read, play on the computer, snuggle with hubby until bedtime which is about 10-11-ish.

The weekends are a little different; the girls may stay up later; we may go out somewhere, etc.!

5. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?

Ha! What is sleep? Seriously - I've functioned with anywhere from a couple hours sleep to 7 hours sleep so apparently it doesn't matter much nowadays!

  Look Out Lancaster!!! 

My Mom, My Sister, My Sister-In-Law and I are heading to Lancaster this weekend to do some shopping, have some girl time and just enjoy ourselves! We are picking up my Mom's Best Friend, Val who lives in Pa and makes the trip down for Thanksgiving every weekend. I can hardly wait to hit the outlets, spend some money & find some great bargains! I've already started SOME Christmas shopping but I'm hoping to get more of it done. What is even sweeter is that all the Dad's are keeping the kiddos so it's truly "Mommy's Day Out" for all of us! (Well, except my Mom & her BFF but hey.. they love us!). Not that I don't love spending time with my girls but they aren't quite at the I love shopping stage, so it's not fun dragging them from store to store when they would much rather be home watching Toy Story 3 with Daddy (that's the bribe for the weekend, haha!).

Anyways, so super excited! So, here we come Lancaster!!!
