Wordish Wednesday & A New Look!

A simple black & white of me, hiding behind the camera!
So this is what the girls see of me most of the time, huh?
I am so happy that today is my Friday!

Bonus: We were permitted to wear jeans to work today.

Another Bonus: We are out of here at 4:30! (an hour early!).

So my plans are to go home, clean my bathroom & dining room before running to get the girls, hopefully a little bit early and then RELAXING before my house is filled with family & friends tomorrow. We may do pizza, make some popcorn and watch Toy Story 3, since I have yet to see it! But then tomorrow...Mmmmm, I can already taste the turkey & stuffing. Bring on the pie!

Happy Thanksgiving!

AND... TADA.. How do you like my new design?? I had the pleasure of working with Lara at Designer Blogs on this, even though she did all of the work really! Isn't it fabulous though? I just love it! If you are looking for a new design for your blog, please check them out! They have tons of designs to chose from and do a simply marvelous job. I am tickled PINK over mine. :)

Back up the big hill we go...

We were in contact with our social worker today. Bio-Mom is now out of jail and has scheduled her drug rehabilition program, which also means visits with Jaelyn & Abbie have been scheduled as well. She roughly estimated they will begin on October 13th.

My guesses as to what happens next: Visits will start. We go back to court on October 19th. Bio-Mom's lawyer will request bonding & pysh evaluations for second opinions and mediation will be brought up to see if it can be rescheduled as well. A court date will be set in the near future to see what progress was made, if any.

I hold my breath every time I receive one of these phone calls. I exhale. Tears sometimes stream down my face. I just want what is best for Jaelyn & Abbie. I grasp everyday with them and realize what a true treasure it is. I often wonder how much of an emotional mess I can be without completely losing it. My faith gets shaken but I still hold on.

Please pray for our family & for me.
