Happy Friday!!

Yaaaaay it's FRIDAY!! *happy dance*

Even though I'm at work because I have to be am so dedicated. We do get to leave early so I will take it. Then a whirlwind weekend of fun is ON! Not too much planned for tonight except watching the Flyers game (woot!). Tomorrow we have plans to dye some eggs and then celebrate my nephew Ethan's birthday and then after that we may even stop over our friend/neighbors house for a little bonfire & chit chat! On Sunday, we are headed to my Sister's house for an egg hunt, dinner and family time. Not to mention all the yummy, yummy food! Woohoo! I know it may rain tomorrow but let's hope we get ONE nice day out of the weekend.

to my Sister's for Easter. I love family time! We have an egg hunt planned for the kids and good food. I can't wait!

nothing? Suprising! I actually just finised "Where She Went" by Gayle Forman. I need to pick up a few new books that I've read reviews on but it's been a busy week so far.

i am hoping...

they let us leave work early tomorrow. It's a bummer we have to work.. the least they could do is let us out a little early!

people chattering, keyboards being tapped, phone's ringing.

I need to start a 'yard sale' pile and plan one very soon.

include dying eggs on Saturday, going to yet another birthday party for my nephew on Saturday evening and then Easter Festivities on Sunday.. hoorah!

I learned - 4/21/11

I learned: That taking pictures of other peoples kids is much easier than taking pictures of mine.

It was a beautiful day yesterday so I met my Sister at a local park to take a few pictures of her two children (who are adorable!). While she was singing "look up!" "sit up straight!" "don't make THAT face!".. I was busy snapping & giggling at them. But I know if it were my 2, I'd be singing the same song that she was. I did get some really good shots of the two of them.. but THIS shot makes me laugh everytime I look at it! haha! I think he may have been doing it on purpose so his Mommy would pull her hair out? LOL! Still, it's adorable and I'm glad I captured it!!

 

Wordish Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

I had a dinner to go to last night for work and didn't get home until a little after 8:00pm. Chris kept the girls up past bedtime just so I could see them for 5 minutes because I hadn't seen them all day. Is there anything better than coming home after a pretty exhausting day and feeling like a rock star with everyone screaming your name "Mommy!" "Mommy!!!!". Nope, don't think there is. Then follow that up with the best hugs & kisses on the east coast and wow, made my day! ♥

I know we are super excited about the Easter Bunny paying us a visit!!

What state do you call "home"?

Texas, born and raised...never lived anywhere else!

When did you start blogging?

October 2009

Besides blogging, what do you like doing in your spare time?

working out and being with my family, I love to have FUN!

How many children do you have?

2 boys and they are complete and total opposites!

What is the one thing your boys can do that can bring a smile to your face no matter how bad your day is going?

It's when the boys will be playing and call out my name and when I answer, they simply say...I love you, Mommy! Ahhh no matter what kind of day I'm having, that alone will bring a smile to my face and warm my heart! It's true!

What does your family do for fun?

We love to be outdoors, anything outside! We love taking walks and going fun places when Daddy is home from work! And when its the boys and I, we play and act silly! They love when their Mommy can make them laugh! Oh and our most favorite game is CHASE...they can run in circles all day long :)

What do you find is the most fun about blogging?

Oh this one is easy, all the MOST amazing fellow bloggers that I've met!! I feel like if I met them in "real" life, they'd be my best friends! They are the support I need when my day isn't going so great, they keep me laughing and they've taught me SO much about family!

Where is your favorite place to shop for your boys?

I love me some Marshalls and TJMaxx, I can find the cutest clothes there for half the price of the mall! Oh and I love Finish Line because I can't help myself, I totally spend way too much money on their shoes!!

What advice would you give a new Mom?

Make the smallest moments count. Take them all in and soak them up! Don't let these times pass you by and never take a second for granted. Being a mother is the GREATEST joy of my life!

What do you like to do to pamper yourself?

I love pedicures! Something about watching Food Network in closed caption, while soothing music is playing and someone is rubbing my feet just does it for me! LOL! Sounds silly when I write that out, but its So true :)
